- He who is forgiven much loves much (Lk 7:47)
- Lv 8: 1. they’re presented to God, we present ourselves to God (Rm 12:1), 2. they’re washed, we’re washed in the word (Jn 15:3, Eph 5:26), 3. they’re clothed, we’re clothed with the righteousness of Christ (Is 61:10), 4. they’re anointed, we’re anointed with the Holy Spirit (1Jn 2:20, 27), 5. they’re atoned for, our sins have been atoned for (1Jn 2:2), 6. they're sprinkled, we’ve been sprinkled (Heb 10:22, 12:24), and 7. they’re fed, we partake in the fellowship of communion (1Cor 11:26).
- Lv 8: While our salvation is complete, we are daily being perfected and growing in sanctification (Heb 10:14).
- Lv 10: God is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29). Priests must example obedience or they will die like Moses when neglecting to circumcise his son (Ex 4:24). As the High Priest Aaron isn’t allowed to outwardly grieve his sons (Lv 21:10).

- Lv 17: Our approach to God must accompany a right understanding of who He is and what He expects (Heb 11:6). Like Israel, this fellowship with Him is only possible through the Priest (Jesus) and with a spotless sacrifice (also Jesus) (Jn 4:6).
- Lv 20: Because there was no offering for his sin, David cried out, ‘Lord You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise’ (Ps 51:16-17).
- Lv 23: Fulfillment of the holy days and feasts- Jesus came as our Rest, fulfilling the Sabbath—Shabat (Heb 4:9-10). Jesus died as the Lamb, fulfilling the Passover—Pesach (1Cor 5:7). Jesus was buried without corruption, fulfilling the Feast of Unleavened Bread—Chag HaMatzot. Jesus is the first to rise from the dead, fulfilling the Feast of Firstfruits—Yom HaBikkurim (1Cor 15:20). The Holy Spirit came and filled the Church fifty days after the Feast of Firstfruits and Jesus’ resurrection, fulfilling the Feast of Pentecost (pente means fifty)—Shavuot (Ac 2:1-4). Christ’s return will fulfill the Feast of Trumpets—Rosh Hashanah (1Cor 15:52). Israel will finally see their Messiah and respond with brokenness and mourning fulfilling the Day of Atonement—
